Initial Teacher Training (ITT)
The Wea;den EIP is linked to Schools Direct and in 2022-23 will be offering unsalaried places, linked to Sussex and Brighton Universities and the East Sussex Learning Partnership, for primary Key Stage 1 & 2 (general) at its Alliance schools.. School Direct (unsalaried) programme
Trainees are school based but not employed by their training school. They will also be registered students at the University of Brighton. Sussex or the East Sussex Learning Partnership. The University of Brighton/Sussex/ES Partnership fees for PGCE courses in 2020-21 is £9000. Trainees may be eligible for student finance from the Student Loan Company and may be eligible additionally for ITT bursaries. Successful trainees will be awarded an internationally recognised secondary PGCE (i.e. Qualified Teacher Status and 60 Masters level credits).
