Cocoon Class - Head Teacher Award work - Term 6
Week 7
Great work again this week, Cocoons. Congratulations to: Sukie, Ellie, Freddie, Poppy, Charlotte, William and Kobie for reading aloud their super stories based on Beowulf; Charlie for a fantastic dragon lair built out of Lego; Charlotte and Freddie for super spelling; Barnaby for his dragon non-chron; Rory for his work on How to Train Your Dragon; Kobie for reading comprehension work; Ambrose for measures work; Poppy and Charlotte for super diary entries using Chapters 2 and 3 of How To Train Your Dragon.
Week 6
Great work again this week, Cocoons, on our focus text, Beowulf and the Death-dragon of the Deep. You keep knocking my socks off! Super story boards from Charlie, George and Isaac using StoryboardThat software; Ellie, Chinedu and James produced wonderful story maps; Chinedu, again, for a super comic strip; Max, George, Charlie, Barnaby, Archie for their own stories based on our text; Ambrose for super vocab work on the text.
Great work in other areas: Freddie for super maths work on measure:mass and Sennen for SPAG work on Purple Mash.
Week 5
I am so impressed with your dedication and motivation to keep producing such brilliant work, Cocoons.
Well done to Poppy for a wonderful dragon non-chron, Max for great comprehension answers, Sophia and Connor for super story maps of Beowulf, Sophia and Freddie for your work on x / by 10, 100, 1000, Sukie for great inference work on the Beowulf crime scene, William for a super diary entry as a dragonologist, Charlotte for a fantastic dragon non-chron and to Callum for being such a great friend in the classroom.
Week 4
Well done to Sukie, Charlie, Freddie, George, Ellie, Jack, Rory and Ambrose for such wonderful non-chronological reports on their own imaginary dragons. Great computing skills and presentation. Charlie also received a further two awards for work on magnets and a super Lego Viking longboat.
Week 3
Well done to Sukie for a wonderful Viking longboat, Isaac for great and carefully studied drawings of the eye and Max for some really great editing work. Well done to Rory and Ellie for super starts to their non-chron reports on dragons, William for his super dragon eyes, Maxime for a super dragon picture and Kobie for great perimeter maths work.
