Friends of St Mark's (PTA)

This year, we will be trying something a little different. Rather than relying on a small group of parents to carry the weight of every fundraiser, the office team—working closely with the Head of School and our School Business Manager—will map out a calendar of events for the year. Each event will then be allocated to a particular class or year group, who will take the lead in organising and/or supporting it. The idea is simple: by spreading responsibility across the school community, we hope to make it easier for more families to get involved. We know that not everyone can commit large amounts of time or take on a standing role in the PTA. However, by sharing the load in smaller, one-off tasks, many more parents will be able to contribute in whatever way suits them best whether that’s baking cakes, setting up tables, helping to run a stall, or just lending a hand on the day

School Disco – Friday 14th November DJ arranged by Mr Luckhurst - Year 5 parents are invited to support on the event. 
Christmas Movie Night – Friday 5th December Set up by Mr Luckhurst. Event supported on the night by Cocoons.
Christmas Raffle – End of November to Wednesday 10th December Organised by Mr Luckhurst.  Tickets will be available via an online link and in-person at school. 
Christmas Fayre – Wednesday 10th December Organised by Mr Luckhurst, Mrs Fraser, and Mrs Hand. Volunteers are warmly encouraged to help on the fayre. The event includes a Christmas trail at Wilderness Wood in the afternoon, followed by the Fayre from 3:15 pm to 4:30 pm at school.
Christmas Dinner – Wednesday 17th December  - Volunteers needed to help decorate the hall.
